Thanks to the generosity of Hampshire Masons and the ingenuity of Havant Charity ‘Over the Wall’, 1,400 seriously ill children will be able to attend virtual camps in place of the activity camps planned prior to the covid pandemic.
In another brilliant example by Hampshire Freemasonry of providing help when it’s needed, where it’s needed – children from across the UK will experience the joy and sense of togetherness through engaging and accessible online activities.
We’re very grateful to Hampshire Freemasons for their generous grant, which will help us to provide a wonderful virtual camp experience to 1,400 seriously ill children who would otherwise have missed out because of the pandemic. Our camps are great fun for the children and have very positive long term effects on their self-confidence and mental health”
Kevin Mathieson, CEO Over The Wall
