There are some news stories that make you smile and feel super-proud all at the same time and simply this is one of them.
Our wonderful Brethren from Northumberland made the donation to MediCinema who bring the joy of blockbuster films to those in hospital. This is so timely considering the isolation that lock-down has brought to those in medical care.
Kat Mason, Chief Executive of MediCinema was quoted as saying:
“We are extremely grateful to Northumberland Freemasons for this generous grant. As well as keeping our bedside screening services running it will also enable us to plan the safe reopening of our Royal Victoria Infirmary MediCinema and will help fund the pediatric screenings once the cinema is re-open.”
